Jadakiss after the first round of airbrushing |
As expected, after the first round of airbrushing my progress on my NaMoPaiMo model has slowed somewhat, as I'm now in the tedious process of adding dapples.
Adding smaller dapples on the barrel |
For the dapples, I'm using a mixture of Earth Pigments titanium white and PearlEx interference gold, applied with a small, soft round blender brush with fairly short bristles. After pouncing on the pigments, I used a small, very slightly damp spotter brush to refine the shape of the dapples.

I'm working on one side at a time, and have managed to finish the first layer on the model's right side.

The dapples are look a bit weird at this point, but I'll be using the airbrush to blend everything together.
